Bathroom Renovation, Brockworth

This space involved the transformation of a standard bathroom into a fully accessible wet room, designed to meet the practical needs of a disability-friendly environment while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.

The existing space was stripped back and reconfigured to accommodate a level-access shower area. A pre-formed wet room tray was installed and fully tanked to ensure long-term waterproofing and durability, forming the foundation for a seamless, barrier-free shower zone.

The layout was carefully planned to maximise manoeuvability and ease of use, with clear floor space and minimal obstructions. Large-format marble-effect tiles were used across both walls and floors, reducing grout lines and creating a cohesive, low-maintenance finish.

A walk-in shower area with a fixed rainfall head and handheld attachment provides flexibility for different user needs. The inclusion of a wall-mounted basin and close-coupled WC ensures practicality while maintaining accessibility within the compact footprint.

Additional considerations such as a wall-mounted towel radiator, recessed shelving, and strategic lighting contribute to both comfort and usability without compromising the overall design.

The result is a highly functional, durable wet room that meets accessibility requirements while delivering a bright, contemporary finish—demonstrating how inclusive design can be both practical and visually refined.
