Bathroom Renovation, Chippenham

This Renovation involved a full structural and spatial transformation, combining two separate rooms—a bathroom and an adjoining bedroom—into a single, large-format luxury bathroom.

The original layout was fragmented and inefficient, with the bathroom accessed via a doorway positioned beneath the stairs. The brief required a complete rethinking of the space to improve flow, increase functionality, and deliver a high-end, contemporary finish. The existing partition wall was removed, structural lintels installed, and the entrance repositioned to create a more logical and open layout.

The redesigned space centres around a spacious walk-in shower and freestanding bath arrangement, forming a cohesive and balanced layout. A frameless glass screen was introduced to maintain openness while subtly defining the wet area.

Large-format marble-effect tiles were used across floors and walls to create a seamless, continuous finish, enhancing the sense of scale and light. Wall-hung sanitaryware, including WC and bidet, keeps the floor space visually clean, while a floating vanity unit with a countertop basin adds both practicality and refined detailing.

Recessed ceiling lighting and an illuminated mirror provide layered lighting, contributing to a calm, spa-like atmosphere. Clean lines, concealed services, and a neutral palette ensure the space feels both contemporary and timeless.

The result is a complete transformation—from two disconnected, underutilised rooms into a cohesive, high-end bathroom that maximises space, light, and functionality through thoughtful design and structural intervention.
