Bathroom Renovation, Chippenham

This project involved the full redesign of a dated bathroom, originally constrained by an inefficient layout that combined a separate shower enclosure and bath, resulting in a fragmented and underutilised space.

The brief was to create a more cohesive, open-plan environment while elevating the overall aesthetic to a contemporary, high-end standard. The layout was reconfigured to integrate a walk-in shower and bath within a unified wet zone, improving flow and maximising usable space.

A bespoke fluted glass screen with a bronze-toned frame was introduced to subtly divide the shower area without compromising light or openness. This feature acts as both a functional partition and a key design statement within the room.

The material palette centres around large-format, stone-effect tiles with rich tonal variation, bringing depth and warmth to the space. Brushed bronze brassware and fittings complement the tile selection, adding a refined, cohesive finish throughout. A recessed shower niche with integrated lighting enhances both practicality and ambience.

The vanity area was designed with a floating timber unit and a countertop basin, paired with a softly illuminated mirror to create a calm, balanced focal point. Clean lines, concealed storage, and carefully considered lighting contribute to a clutter-free and contemporary feel.

The result is a sophisticated, spa-like bathroom that demonstrates how thoughtful spatial planning and a strong material narrative can completely transform a standard layout into a premium interior experience.
