11/2025Bathroom Renovation, Chippenham
A returning customer, which involved the complete renovation of a dated bathroom, transforming it into a modern, design-led space with a strong focus on texture, lighting, and clean detailing.
The original room was stripped back to its core, with updated plumbing and floor preparation carried out to accommodate a new walk-in shower layout. A level-access shower tray was installed and fully tanked to ensure durability and long-term waterproofing.
The design centres around a feature wall finished in textured tiles, creating depth and visual interest within the space. This is enhanced by a backlit circular mirror, introducing soft ambient lighting and establishing a focal point within the room. You may recognise the tiles from a previous project—this reflects a returning client who invited us back to deliver further work.
Large-format stone-effect tiles were used across the remaining walls and floor to maintain a cohesive, minimal aesthetic while maximising the sense of space. A frameless glass shower screen was installed to preserve openness and allow the feature wall to remain fully visible.
Wall-hung sanitaryware, including a floating vanity unit with a countertop basin and a concealed cistern WC, contributes to a clean, uncluttered finish. Integrated lighting and carefully selected fixtures complete the space, balancing practicality with a refined, contemporary feel.
The result is a compact yet visually impactful bathroom that demonstrates how material contrast and layered lighting can elevate a functional space into a standout interior.
